Occupational Health and Safety Non-Thesis Master’s  Program Project
About the term project
 
 
1. All students of Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences Non-Theis Master’s programs who were registered to the program  in 2017-2018 academic year (2nd semester) and started on December 3rd, 2018 of 2018-2019 academic  year spring term   are required to register for Term Project course.
 
2. All students of Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences Non-Theis Master’s programs who started on April 13th, 2018 of 2017-2018 academic year summer term (3rd semester) are required to register for Term Project course. In the last semesters they need to pay course extension fee to be able to register for the courses.
 3.  Students who didn’t register for the course and didn’t submit the signed project approval to  the institute as well as those who didn’t prepare the project according to the rules and didn’t have it approved by the supervisor  at the end of the semester, including those who didn’t submit the project to the Directorate of  Institute  are not eligible to  become a graduate.
4.To become graduates  students are required to accomplish all obligatory lessons successfully. Otherwise their term project  will not be accepted by Institute Executive Board.
5. In case of missing any lessons students are required to register for them urgently.

7. Term Project  Proposal Form should be filled in and sent as an Excel file without any signatures to the supervisor not later than January 26, 2019. This form should be Excel format and consist of one page. The form is to be signed by the supervisor together with the term project at the end of semester. The form is expected to be submitted together with the Term Project.
8. Students are required to prepare their Term Projects on time and submit them not later than final examinations start ( March 16, 2018 Saturday, 15:00).
9. Students are recommended to see their supervisors as often as possible before printing tha last version of the project.     
10. You are supposed to get the appointment from your supervisor by massaging before the consultation. If you come without informing, you might not find your supervisor easily.
11. At the end of the semester excuses such as “I could’t reach my supervisor” are not acceptable. For this reason, please don’t change your e-mail address.
12. The project topics should include themes related to Occupational Health and Safety. It is possible to include statistic facts and survey research. In case of including survey research to your project, you need to get the permission from university and get an approval of survey questions from Ethical committee before starting to work on your project.

14. During the submission process students are required to add the page including supervisor’s  approval, project proposal form and 1CD( with word and pdf formats of the project).
 15. Students are not allowed to submit the project unless Student Affairs  approves it as written according to the existing rules.
